people smile a whole lot
they go dancing
and get lost in each others' eyes.
they hold hands, clutching priceless gifts.
they go on dates
and talk for hours on end.
they find excuses just to spend time together.
and give presents to each other all the time. for no reason.
just to say, "you're loved. by me. to bits."
and, being caught up in the whole whirl of romance,
they don't particularly care about what others think of the relationship.
because it just doesn't matter, especially if they oppose it.
all that matters is you, and me.
