SYDNEY, BABY! =D

it was truly an amazing experience. hillsong is awesome. to get to olympic park, where the conference was held, we had to get up at 6am every flipping morning to walk to the train station and take 2 trains. e v e r y  morning.

we stayed at a backpacker's and the room was literally miniscule and we had to use public bathrooms. the blankets were unwashed and beds were creaky and unstable. joy. =)
there were like 27,000 people there, or something. this is me queuing in the blistering cold just to enter the auditorium. and we were like in the middle of the queue by this time so you can only imagine how long it was.
a shot of all the girls. it's funny, i went to hillsong with these people not knowing a single one of them. faith, baby. faith. HA HA HA.
acer arena. it's gigantic.
brooke fraser. she's amazing. she wrote Hosanna and the Desert Song, which is beautiful. really, really gorgeous. plus she's so pretty.
marty sampson =D
J.D. =D
matt crocker =D
my personal favourite. JOEL HOUSTON
he's the most... omg. he sings, he plays guitar so stylishly, he writes amazing songs.
extremely extremely talented, anointed, tall and HOT.
and he's the pastors' son. and he's got blondish hair and green-blue eyes.
all scruffy and rugged and manly and look at his adorable lop-sided smile!!!!

i wantED to marry him. now i just want to marry someone exactly LIKE him. =D
i know i look very unglam here but i was so happy i couldn't smile properly. HAHA.
i am going to marry a sizzzzzling hot worship leader like him.
heehee. so cute.
at the backpacker's... erm, lobby.
diana bought me the songbook for me as a birthday present. =D
i didn't even know her before this, okay. anyways she's in singapore now.
and my point is, my birthday is coming, you freaks. it's almost here. -.-".

so after 5 days of sleep-deprivation and crazy rushing everywhere, hillsong conference ended.
i've already bought my ticket for next year's in faith that God will bring me people to go and have a blast with =D FAITH, BABY. FAITH. WAHAHHAHA.

seafood at sydney fish market. =D
on the ferry.

bondi beach! =D it is GORGEOUS.
one day when i am hot i will come to sydney in the summer and spend a whole day on bondi beach sun bathing and building cute sandcastles and looking at hot surfer dudes. =)
hillsong was amazing.
i learnt alot.
i learnt that when you are too distracted by goodlooking worship leaders to actually worship God, it isn't a good thing. =)

basically, the heart of God beats for the oppressed and poor and helpless in the world.
and we as His church, it's our responsibility to be His hands and His feet.

my emotions raged throughout the whole conference and it's absolutely frustrating to be so besotted with someone you can't get (case in point, JOEL, which, i've discovered, is pronounced as "JO-L" and not "JO-ELLE").

so i remember being in one of the worship sessions and i felt so sad and lonely and depressed, suddenly, and helpless and i was begging these thoughts to go away and leave me alone and the Holy Spirit spoke, and said,
"why are you pleading with demons?? what happened to the conqueror inside you?"

loneliness is not your enemy.
it is God's enemy. and psalm68:1, when you raise God up above your hurt, it flees
because it remembers how Jesus defeated it at the cross
Jesus is awesome.

so, now! hillsong 2009! any takers? =D
